About Us
Since launching in 2021, we have provided over 12,000 meals, and support programs to our community in need. Including but not limited to unhoused individuals, the youth, and families facing financial struggles. We are fortunate to have volunteers and staff from all walks of life who bring their unique expertise and resources into everything we do. This is what enables us to achieve our goals year after year.
While there is always more that can be done, there is no doubt that we are making a significant impact. We don’t measure our success through just facts and figures, but through happy faces and heartwarming feedback. See how you can become part of the difference.
Our Mission
We knew the first hand stories of homelessness, hunger and hopelessness. It is our mission to show this same community in need the love, hope, support and encouragement we have found. We hope to restore life, and want unhoused people to know that they are not forgotten, that they matter and that they are loved.
Our Vision
To provide housing, and support programs, assist in restoring self esteem, value and dignity, with services and resources for mental, emotional, spiritual and physical assistance, so that one has the ability for oneself to live their life free of traumas, addiction and pain; fully and completely healed, and known.
“For a long time, I had no direction in life. After overcoming a series of struggles, including homelessness and mental health issues. I realized that life can be restored.
This is when I decided that I need to give back to the community, and empower others to overcome their obstacles too. We started on Skid Row feeding and giving out clothes and toiletries. Through our shared experiences, the people we’ve met along the journey have given us much inspiration.
With the help of our gracious donors and volunteers, we grew from one person to a team at Gracie's Giving Hands. We look forward to spreading love, compassion, and hope to all.”
